We all know that academic writing can be a tough task – from the editing cycle to article rejections.

LinguaClue was made as a response to these difficulties. I thought it was a shame that fantastic research and analytical insights were not being appreciated due to an opaque writing style; and now strive to change this. Here at LinguaClue, I provide streamlined services to maximise your research potential. I believe that the impact of your research should not boil down to a few wrong tenses or incorrect references – and so, I provide a wide range of proofreading and editing services that tackle some of the issues of academic writing, so you can focus on conducting quality research.

My own academic experience influenced LinguaClue’s growth. I have a BA(Hons) in English Language & Linguistics from The University of Kent; a MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience from Radboud University in The Netherlands, and I am currently a PhD student at The University of Edinburgh in the CDT in NLP. I am also a PQB-certified proofreader, and an Intermediate Member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading, with experience in editing a range of documents:

Being an academic myself, I fully understand the experiences (and sometimes the frustrations!) of conducting and writing up research. I have editing experiences across multiple disciplines, such as the social sciences, medical science, legal practices and the humanities.
